This is the perfect opportunity to catch films you might have missed from this year’s festival and watch the best of DC’s comedy circuit.
Alice, a successful architectural design business owner, is super single - probably because of her honesty and no BS character. She goes on dates in hope of meeting the right guy. But dating spoiled New York men, flings her into unexpectedly ridiculous situations.
Carl’s family are completely unaware of their son’s relationship with Denis. However, during a family Christmas dinner, a psychological cat and mouse duel takes place between Denis and Ruby, the six-year-old spoiled rotten niece of Carl.
Denise Taylor is a stand-up comic who performs throughout the D.C. area. She’s wanted to be a comedian ever since her fourth grade teacher called her a “ringleader” for distracting the class with jokes. At 25 years old, her sharp and satirical material has made her a regular at venues such as the DC Improv Comedy Club and the Kennedy Center. Denise has shared the stage with several national touring headliners, including Judah Friedlander, Liza Treyger, Chris Gethard, and Kamau Bell.
